Cricket icons and fans alike have praised his calm nature, sharp thinking, and leadership abilities. In a recent episode of ‘Tread Talks’ by Eurogrip Tyres, Dhoni shared the compliment that meant the most to him. After thinking for a moment, he revealed that it came from his wife.
When asked about the best compliment he’s ever received, Dhoni paused before responding, “I think a lot of people have complimented me but my wife saying ‘you have done alright in life,’ that’s a big compliment you know, she doesn’t give a lot of compliments.” He added humorously, “Yeah yeah, because we’re all trying to do the same, trying to impress our wives.”

The 43-year-old will be representing Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. There were some questions about whether he would play, but the five-time champions were able to convince the cricketer from Ranchi, and he has been signed for INR 4 crore.
However, before the season starts, Dhoni admitted that he’s not in top form but hopes to improve as the season approaches. IPL 2025 season may start from March 15.
