Former Australian cricketer David Warner has signed up for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 draft. This comes after the experienced batsman was not picked in the IPL 2025 auction. Before Warner, experienced New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee also registered for the PSL Season 10 draft.
Although David Warner has had a strong IPL career, he went unsold in the IPL 2025 auction. His journey began in 2009 with Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils), and he later became a key player for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) starting in 2014. Under his smart captaincy, SRH won the IPL title in 2016. Warner is the only player to have won the Orange Cap three times.
With a starting price of INR 2 crore, Warner received no bids at the auction. Without any IPL commitments, he shifted his attention to the PSL.

The 10th season of the PSL will attract fans with its beautiful location in Gwadar, in Pakistan’s Balochistan region. The tournament is set to start on April 8, 2025, and end on May 19. The draft for the tournament will take place on January 11.
Sydney Thunder captain David Warner scored his first Big Bash League (BBL) fifty in 11 years. He reached the half-century mark off 40 balls against the Melbourne Renegades at the Sydney Showground Stadium on December 30 (Monday). The performance of the left-hander will draw the attention of the franchise owners.
After he retired from international cricket following Australia’s elimination in the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 he shifted his focus to global T20 leagues. Warner has played 389 T20 matches so far, scoring 12540 runs at an impressive strike rate of 140.15.
