Carabao Cup Round 3 Draw: Tottenham Face Tricky Away Test, Man City Play Watford, 3 All-PL Games
The draw for Round 3 of the Carabao Cup 2024 is complete and with the arrival of the Premier League heavyweights, the competition heats up as the teams battle it out to claim the season’s first major silverware.
There will be 3 all-PL games in the 3rd round with defending champions Liverpool playing West Ham at home. Everton will face Southampton at Goodison Park and Brighton will host Wolves at Amex Stadium.
Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City will face Championship side Watford at Etihad Stadium. Cityzens have lifted the Carabao Cup on 6 occasions in the past decade and again enter the competition as the clear favorites.

In the other matches, Arsenal will be at home to Bolton Wanderers and Manchester United will face Barnsley of Football League 1. Newcastle United, who defeated Nottingham Forest on penalties in the 3rd round, will face AFC Wimbledon and Chelsea will have a home assignment against League 2 side Barrow.
