During the fourth T20I between India and South Africa Sanju Samson smashed his second ton of the series. He scored 109 runs off 56 balls which helped India to post the 5th highest team total in T20I history. Samson had a record-breaking partnership of 210 runs with Tilak Verma. India posted 73 runs in the first six overs and pushed the hosts to the backfoot. Samson hammered nine towering sixes in his innings of unbeaten 109 runs.
On the second ball of the 10th over, when Sanju Samson was playing on 47 runs off 27 balls, hammered Tristan Stubbs over deep mid-wicket where the ball bounced on the staircase and struck the face of the young lady. Luckily someone offered her an ice pack to brush on her face. After seeing the visuals on the big screen Sanju Samson waved his hand in the air to express his apologies.

While chasing the massive target of 284 runs the bowlers completed the job for India as South Africa was bowled out for 148 runs. Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets, while Axar Patel picked two wickets for six runs.
India won the series decider by 135 runs and clinched the four-match series by 3-1.
