RRB ALP Syllabus 2024, Check CBT Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme
The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct an exam for the Assistant Loco Pilot position. The online application process was open from January 20th to February 19th, 2024. This annual examination offers candidates a chance to secure a position within the Central Government of India.
The department aims to fill 5,696 vacancies, and thousands of candidates have already participated in the online application process. RRB ALP Exam Pattern
The RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024 comprises two stages, CBT 1 and CBT 2, conducted online in an objective-type format. Further details regarding the exam pattern are mentioned below:
RRB ALP Exam Pattern for CBT 1
- For both Loco Pilot and technicians, It consists of 75 Questions.
- The questions will be asked related to maths, general intelligence & reasoning, general science, and general awareness of current affairs.
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks.

- The CBT 2 Examination consists of two parts: Part 1 and Part 2.
- Candidates have 120 minutes to complete the examination.
- There will be a total of 175 questions.
- 1/3 will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
