Which US Stadiums Will Host Copa America 2024?
South America’s premier continental football tournament Copa America is set to begin on 20 June in the United States. Teams will play in 14 US Stadiums in Copa America across 10 states. This will be the second time that the US will host the tournament having previously hosted it in 2016.
Let us take a look at all the 14 stadiums that will host the Copa America 2024 matches.
1. AT&T Stadium – Texas
AT&T Stadium is home to the NFL side Dallas Cowboys. It has a capacity of 80,000 and will host three matches of the Copa America 2024. Apart from Copa, it will also host the Final Four of the CONCACAF Nations League. It also famously hosted a friendly El Classico in 2023.

2. Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Atlanta
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is located on the East Coast and will host two matches of Copa America 2024. It has a capacity of 71,000 people and is home to Atlanta United (MLS) and the Atlanta Falcons (NFL). This stadium will also host seven matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup including a semi-final.

3. Q2 Stadium – Austin
Q2 Stadium is located in the center of the country and has a capacity of 20,700. It is the home of Austin FC, a Major League Soccer team. The stadium is known for its ecological design and inclusive, fan-friendly interface. It hosted one of the semifinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2021.

4. Bank of America Stadium – North Carolina
Bank of America Stadium is located on the East Coast and has a capacity of 74,500. It is home to the Carolina Panthers (NFL) and the Charlotte FC (MLS). The stadium won’t host any group-stage games but will be the venue for a semi-final and the third-place match.

5. MetLife Stadium – New Jersey
The 82,500-seater in East Rutherford, New Jersey will host three matches in the Copa America 2024. The stadium is known to host the biggest sporting events such as Wrestlemania, on two occasions (2013 and 2019), and the Super Bowl (2014). It will also host eight FIFA World Cup matches including the final.

6. NRG Stadium – Texas
NRG stadium is located in Houston, Texas, and has a capacity of 72,200 people. It is home to NFL-side Houston Texans and will host three matches in this year’s Copa America.

7. SoFi Stadium – California
SoFi Stadium is located on the West Coast of the USA and is home to Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the NFL. It will host two group games of Copa America. It will also host 8 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the opening ceremony of the 2028 Olympic Games.

8. Levi’s Stadium – California
Inaugurated in 2014, Levi’s Stadium has a capacity of 68,500 and is home to the San Francisco 49ers, an NFL team. It will host two matches during Copa America and will also host the Super Bowl in 2026. It is regarded as the most innovative stadium in the NFL currently.

9. State Farm Stadium – Arizona
State Farm Stadium is located on the West Coast of the USA and will host three matches. It has a capacity of 63,400 people and is home to the Arizona Cardinals, an NFL team. The stadium has a rich history, hosting three editions of the Super Bowl (2008, 2015, and 2023).

10. Allegiant Stadium – Nevada
Allegiant Stadium was inaugurated in 2020 and is home to NFL side Las Vegas Raiders. It has a capacity of 65,500 and will host three matches during the Copa America. Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium has a retractable grass field that sits outside in the sunshine until needed for game days.

11. Arrowhead Stadium – Missouri
Opened in 1972, Arrowhead Stadium is the oldest stadium to feature in this year’s Copa America. It has a capacity of 76,416 and will host one match. It is home to the reigning NFL champions, Kansas Chiefs. The stadium has undergone five significant modifications, the most recent in 2010.

12. Children’s Mercy Park – Kansas
Children’s Mercy Park was inaugurated in 2013 and is home to 2013 MLS champions Sporting Kansas City. It has a capacity of 18,500 and will host one Group Stage match in Copa America 2024. The stadium also hosted the USA’s two World Cup qualifiers against Guatemala and Jamaica.

13. Hard Rock Stadium – Florida
Hard Rock Stadium is located in Miami Gardens and was inaugurated in 1987. It has a capacity of 65,300 people and will host three matches including the tournament’s final. It is the home of the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. The stadium has hosted six Super Bowl editions in 1989, 1995, 1999, 2007, 2010, and 2020.

14. Inter&Co Stadium – Florida
Inter&Co Stadium has a capacity of 25,500 and will host two matches during the tournament. The stadium is home to Orlando City of MLS. It was one of the USA’s home venues for the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup, both for Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022.
