Who is Mohammad Huraira?

Mohammad Huraira is a talented Pakistani cricketer, known for his skills as an opening batsman. He gained recognition through his consistent performances in domestic cricket, which earned him a spot in the national team. He was born on April 25, 2002, in Sialkot, Pakistan. His uncle, Shoaib Malik, is one of the finest all-rounders in the sport. He made his Test debut on January 17, 2025, against the West Indies at Multan Cricket Stadium. He was presented with his debut cap by the Pakistani batter Babar Azam.

Mohammad Huraira’s father is named Malik Tariq, and his estimated net worth is around 1 million. Huraira has completed his intermediate education. He plays for PSL champions Islamabad United, though he has only played one match for the franchise so far. More opportunities are likely in the upcoming season.

Domestic Career

He made his first-class debut on October 20, 2021, for Northern in the 2021–22 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Before his first-class debut, he was included in Pakistan’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He has scored 3,427 runs in 76 innings of his first-class career, including 8 centuries and 15 half-centuries, with an average of nearly 50. His highest score in first-class career is 311 runs.

Sialkot-born batter smashed a brilliant triple century in first-class cricket and became the second youngest batter to achieve this feat after the legendary Javed Miandad.
