However, during the game, three spectators bypassed the security measures, trespassing onto the field to approach Hardik.
Their behavior triggered a prompt response from the security staff, who swiftly escorted them off the field. It appeared that the fans would face severe punishment for their actions, but in a surprising move, Hardik stepped in. The Indian all-rounder approached the boundary line, signaling to the security team and requesting them to release the fans.

However, the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya had a rough day with a bat as he only managed to score just 5 runs, his team faced a six-wicket defeat against Mumbai in the semi-final. He did better with the ball ending his 4-over quota with figures of 1/29.
Ajinkya Rahane was the standout performer for Mumbai in the chase, playing a superb knock of 98 from only 56 balls to lead the team into the tournament final.
Hardik Pandya will return in a blue jersey in the upcoming T-20 series against England however it is not confirmed that he’ll make his place in the 50-over side.
