The mega auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is scheduled for 24 and 25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is only the second time the event will take place outside India, the auction of IPL 2024 was held in Dubai. All 10 IPL franchises have already submitted their final retention lists.

5. Ben Stokes
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) secured England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes for INR 16.25Cr in the IPL auction of 2023.
Stokes only played two matches in that edition as he suffered a knee injury, he scored only 15 runs in IPL 2023.
4. Cameron Green
Five-time champions Mumbai Indians(MI) acquired Australian all-rounder Cameron Green for INR 17.50Cr for the 2023 edition of the Indian Premium League.
He represented Mumbai Indians in 16 matches, amassing 452 runs at an impressive strike rate of 160.28. Additionally, he registered one ton and two half-centuries. He smashed an unbeaten 100 runs off 47 balls against Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH) at Wankhede Stadium. Green’s century guided Mumbai Indians to eight-wicket victory over SRH.
3. Sam Curran
The Punjab Kings picked England’s left-arm pacer Sam Curran for INR 18.50Cr for the IPL 2023.
Curran represented the Punjab Kings in 14 matches, claiming 10 wickets with standout bowling figures of 3/34 with an economy of 10.22, he also contributed 276 runs with bat at a strike of 135.96, with his highest score being 55 runs.
2. Pat Cummins
Sunrisers Hyderabad picked Australian skipper Pat Cummins for INR 20.50Cr in the auction for IPL 2024.
Pat Cummins led SRH in 16 matches and guided them into the finals for the first time since 2018. Cummins picked 18 wickets at an economy rate of 9.28 with best bowling figures of 3/34. He also scored 136 runs with a strike rate of 143.16.
1. Mitchell Starc
The Kolkata Knight Riders, owned by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan secured Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc for an astounding sum of INR 24.75Cr in the IPL auction of 2024, becoming the most expensive player in IPL history.
He played 14 matches for KKR in that edition and picked 17 wickets, with a best bowling figure of 4/33. Starc was named as player of the match in the IPL final 2024 for his figure of 2/14 in three overs.
