WWE will present its WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event from Las Vegas, Nevada on February 8. The event will feature Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a showdown against WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
It is expected that WWE will reveal the fate of these two and 2024 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 during the kickoff event. Stars like current World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and others are expected to attend the event.
In a press release WWE said, “STAMFORD, Conn., February 3, 2024 – WWE®, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), today announced that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Roman Reigns will face off at an open-to-the-public fan and media event – WrestleMania XL Kickoff – live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Thursday, February 8 at 4 p.m. PT.”

The WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event goes live at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on this Thursday (February 8). Doors will open at 2:30 PM local time (PT). The scrum will kick off at 4 PM PT (7 PM ET).
Fans worldwide can tune into WWE’s social and digital channels to watch the live stream and Peacock will also stream the event.
The anticipation for the kickoff event has been high since The Rock was placed in the WrestleMania 40 plans, sidelining Rhodes’ possible redemption against Reigns.
