Which USA Stadiums Will Host FIFA Club World Cup in 2025?

The revamped format of the FIFA Club World Cup will make its debut next year which will see 32 teams participating in the tournament. Twelve teams will take part from UEFA, four each from CONCACAF, CAF, and the AFC, one from Oceanic, and one from Hosts USA.

The tournament will run from 15 June to 13 July 2025 in 12 stadiums across the United States of America. Let us take a look a closer look at the stadiums that will host the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.

MetLife Stadium – New Jersey

The iconic MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Giants and New York Jets, will host the final match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. This open-air stadium, which has a seating capacity of 82,500 and opened in 2010, was previously the venue for the 2016 Copa America Centenario final, where Chile triumphed over Argentina in a penalty shootout.

Earlier this year, it was also named as the host venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final where it will also host 2 knockout games and 5 group stage matches.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Atalanta

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and was opened in 2017. With a capacity of 75,000, the stadium is home to both Atlanta United of Major League Soccer (MLS) and the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. It features a retractable roof and an innovative 360-degree halo video display.

Set to host eight matches during the FIFA World Cup 2026, including a semi-final and two knockout games, the stadium has also been the stage for major events like the MLS All-Star Game, the College Football Playoff National Championship, Super Bowl LIII, international friendlies, and concerts from global music icons.

Bank of America Stadium – Charlotte

Bank of America Stadium was opened in 1996 and has a capacity of  75,000. Since their inaugural season in 2022, Charlotte FC has called Bank of America Stadium home, drawing a record crowd of over 70,000 fans for their first match.

The stadium has a rich history of hosting football matches, including international and club friendlies, CONCACAF Gold Cup fixtures, and two knockout-stage games in the 2024 Copa America. Additionally, the NFL’s Carolina Panthers have used the Charlotte venue since 1996, including multiple playoff appearances.

TQL Stadium – Cincinnati

TQL Stadium is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has a capacity of 26,000 fans. Though only opened in 2021, TQL Stadium has already made a significant mark by hosting numerous high-profile matches. The USMNT’s debut at the venue came with a commanding 2-0 win over Mexico during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Rose Bowl Stadium – Los Angeles

Rose Bowl Stadium is the most iconic Stadium in the USA. Opened in 1922, the stadium can accommodate 88,500 fans. This iconic venue hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final, where Brazil claimed their fourth title after a dramatic penalty shootout against Italy. Additionally, it was the stage for the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final™, in which the host nation, the United States, triumphed over China PR in a similarly tense penalty shootout.

The circular design of the stadium offers spectators a clear, uninterrupted view of the field from any seat. Rose Bowl Stadium celebrated its centenary in 2022.

Hard Rock Stadium – Miami

Hard Rock Stadium is situated in Miami Gardens, Florida, and has a capacity of 65,000 spectators. Opened in 1987, the stadium hosts a multitude of events and is home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, the Miami Open tennis tournament, the University of Miami, and Orange Bowl college football games.

GEODIS Park was opened in 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. With a capacity of 30,00, the most recently constructed venue on the FIFA Club World Cup roster holds the title of the largest soccer-specific stadium in the US and Canada. With the furthest seat positioned just 150 feet from the touchline, fans are offered a close and immersive view of the action.

Serving as the home ground for MLS side Nashville SC, this state-of-the-art stadium has already hosted both the USMNT and USWNT and has become a popular concert venue, featuring performances from stars like Shania Twain, P!nk, and Green Day.

Camping World Stadium is located in Orlando, Florida, and accommodates 65,000 fans. First opened nearly 90 years ago, Camping World Stadium has seen numerous renovations and expansions, with the most significant overhaul occurring in 2014. This $200 million redevelopment transformed 90% of the venue into a near-new stadium.

Inter&Co Stadium was opened in 2017 and has a capacity of 25,000 fans. Located in Orlando, Florida, this soccer-specific stadium serves as the home ground for MLS team Orlando City and NWSL side Orlando Pride.

Lincoln Financial Field is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has a capacity of 69,000. Opened in 2003, the venue is home to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. This state-of-the-art venue has also been selected to host five group-stage matches and a Round of 16 games during the much-anticipated 48-team FIFA World Cup 2026.

Lumen Filed is situated in Seattle, Washington, and has a capacity of 69,000 fans. Home to the Seattle Sounders, who themselves have qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup 2015 by winning the Concacaf Champions League in 2022, the stadium is known for its unique horseshoe design and breathtaking views of the city skyline.

Additionally, the stadium will welcome the game back in 2026 for the FIFA World Cup 26, featuring four group-stage matches, including the USA’s second Group D game, as well as a Round of 32 and a Round of 16 contest.

Audi Field –  Washington DC

Opened in 2018, Audi Field can accommodate 20,000. DC United, the most successful team in MLS history, plays its home games at Audi Field, which also hosts the NWSL team Washington Spirit. The USWNT used the venue for their final warm-up match ahead of the Paris Olympics, where they drew 0-0 with Costa Rica before going on to win gold under the leadership of new coach Emma Hayes.

The USMNT’s visits to Audi Field in 2019 yielded mixed results, as they lost 1-0 to Jamaica in an international friendly but later secured a commanding 7-0 victory against Cuba in the CONCACAF Nations League play.
