“West Ham United can confirm that forward Michail Antonio has been involved in a traffic accident today. However, the Hammers have now released a statement confirming that the Jamaican is in a stable condition. “West Ham United can confirm that Michail Antonio is in stable condition following a road traffic accident this afternoon in the Essex area,” the club said. “Michail is conscious and communicating and is currently under close supervision at a central London hospital.”

The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service reported responding to an incident in Epping on Saturday afternoon, where they rescued a man trapped inside his vehicle. Essex Police confirmed they are investigating a severe collision involving a Ferrari and have appealed for witnesses or dashcam footage to assist with their inquiries.
