Real Madrid star midfielder Jude Bellingham won his first UEFA Champions League trophy on Saturday defeating his former side Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at the Wembley Stadium in London. This is a fitting end to a near perfect first season for Bellingham at Real Madrid. “I have always dreamed of playing in these games. You go through life and there are so many people who say you cannot do things. Days like today remind you why you do it. It’s hard at times and you wonder whether it’s worth it but nights like tonight make you realise.” said Bellingham. “It’s the best night of my life” he added.

During an interview with Topps UK on 6 May 2024, Bellingham was asked about his best friend apart from his current side Real Madrid to which he replied “ I think Gio (Giovanni) Reyna my Dortmund teammate, you know a really good guy and a very good player. I got really well with him in Dortmund but I’ve not seen him for a while” It was an ‘answer fans question’ segment. In the interview, he also revealed his favorite fashion brand.

The pair spent three years together in Germany before Bellingham left for Real Madrid last year. Giovanni Reyna was loaned out to Nottingham Forest in January, a move which did not go as planned making just ten appearances clocking 230 minutes on the pitch for the Premier League side.
