The Euro 2024 is living up to its promise of high-quality football. Eight teams have already qualified for the knockout stage. Four more matches are scheduled for today in Groups C and D.

England vs Slovenia – Group C

England have four points from their two games and are through to the knockout stage of the competition, following the results yesterday. The Three Lions play their final group match against Slovenia in Cologne.

Slovenia have two points from two matches and a win against England will take them to the Round of 16.

Harry Kane’s goal separated the two sides when they last met in 2017 in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Denmark vs Serbia – Group C

A win for Denmark in the last group match would see them qualify for the knockout stage. The EURO 2020 semi-finalists will play their final match against Serbia in Munich.

Serbia are on the brink of elimination with just one point from their first two group matches. However, things are far from over for the Serbs as a final-day win against Denmark would see them qualify for the next round.

There is still all to play for in Group C with all four teams having a chance to qualify on the final day of the group stages.

Netherlands vs Austria – Group D

The Netherlands are top of the Group D table with four points and Austria are third with three points. The two teams will play each other in the final match at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. A draw would see both teams qualify for the knockout stage.

The two teams have met 19 teams previously with the Netherlands winning 9 matches and Austria with 6 wins. Their recent meeting came at Euro 2020 group stage with the Dutch winning 2-0.

France vs Poland – Group D

Surprisingly, the French have failed to hit the back of the net in this year’s Euros. They beat Austria in their opening game courtesy of an own goal and drew their second match 0-0 against the Netherlands.

The availability of key forward Kylian Mbappé is still in doubt after the former PSG star broke his nose against Austria in their opening match.

Poland are out of the tournament after two consecutive defeats. They would look to get some positives from a disappointing tournament with a strong performance against France. The two sides will lock horns today at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund.
