McLaren has joined the ranks of Formula 1 teams unveiling special liveries for the United States Grand Prix weekend, following Haas and Alpine’s earlier reveals. This trend of unique designs celebrates the significance of the Austin race and showcases the teams’ creativity and branding efforts in the American market.
Alpine and Haas also reveal new liveries for COTA
Earlier, Alpine also unveiled a special livery for the United States Grand Prix in Austin, featuring a striking design that pays homage to the iconic character Indiana Jones, coinciding with the release of an upcoming video game.
Through a partnership with team sponsor Xbox, Alpine is promoting the upcoming release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, set to launch in Spring 2025. This collaboration features a vibrant ‘sunset orange’ color scheme and driver suits designed with elements inspired by the iconic franchise logo.
The car livery features a design that incorporates an ancient map alongside red travel routes reminiscent of the iconic film series, with the title of the game prominently displayed on the vehicle. Additionally, the driver suits showcase a world map adorned with golden notes, reflecting the adventurous spirit of the Indiana Jones franchise.
Meanwhile, the only American F1 team, Haas, also revealed its new livery inspired by the bald eagle, the national bird of the United States, ahead of the upcoming United States Grand Prix.
Both the VF-24 F1 car and the drivers’ suits will showcase the new bald eagle theme in Austin. This update highlights Haas’s improved performance this season, a stark contrast to last year’s struggles when they finished at the bottom of the Constructors’ Championship.
