Jammu and Kashmir-born pacer Umran Malik drew attention by bowling one of the fastest deliveries in the history of the Indian Preium League (IPL). He bowled 157kmph in the 2022 edition of the IPL, he also bowled 156kmph in the last over of the same match. He played his debut T20I match against Ireland in June 2022.
He impressed IPL franchise owners with his raw pace, and Sunrisers Hyderabad picked him for INR 4Cr for seasons 2022 and 2023. As per reports, the estimated net worth of Umran Malik is INR 9Cr.
