T20 World Cup 2024 : Who is the Highest Scorer, Highest Wicket Taker in the Tournament So Far?

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 hosted by the West Indies and USA is in its final stages.

With the upcoming semis giving us finalists, the 2024 edition will have its final match on June 29 at 8 PM IST at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The first semi final will take place between South Africa and Afghanistan and next semi final will have India vs England match later on the same day on 27 June.

Highest Run Scorers in T20 World Cup 2024

Rahmanullah Gurbaz , Afghanistan keeper-batter is the highest run scorer with 281runs in seven innings. Travid Head marks himself as second on the list with 255 runs in seven innings.

Another Afghan cricketer, Ibrahum Zadran, is third highest run-scorer with 229 runs in seven innings. Also the Indian Captain, Rohit Sharma makes it to top 10 scoring 191 runs in six innings at an average of 38.20.

Afghans have shined in the current edition of T20 WC. Afghan bowler, Fazalhaq Farooqi is the leading wicket taker with 16 wickets in seven matches to his name.

At number two, we have Indian left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh claiming 15 wickets in six matches.

Again a cricketer from Afghan, the Captain Rashid Khan has climbed up to number three in the list. The skipper garnered 14 wickets in seven matches.
