Watch: Boxer Jake Paul’s Plane Hit With Lightning
Celebrity boxer Jake Paul is gearing for a marquee match with the legendary Mike Tyson on July 20. The match will be streamed live on Netflix and both Tyson and Paul are promoting the match to great lengths. But amidst the hype, “The Problem Child” was in news after his private jet was struck by lightning.
Paul was traveling home from Arlington, Texas following a heated press conference with Tyson at the AT&T Stadium. The YouTuber shared a clip from his plane when the lightning struck his jet. The video captured him and his friends in a heart stopping moment along with his pet dog.
In the video Paul is seeing holding onto the roof of the plane with one arm while wrapping his other arm around his beloved pet. During the ordeal the group was actually terrified and Jake Paul himself indulged into prayers highlighting the dire situation.
Thankfully, Paul and his friends landed safely after experiencing the horrific ordeal. As mentioned earlier, Jake Paul was returning from a heated press conference against Tyson to promote their upcoming clash.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have a heated back and forth
On Thursday, at the AT&T Stadium Jake Paul addressed the crowd in attendance. In the previous press conference in Brooklyn, things went smoothly, however, this time around, Paul stirred the emotions when he said, “What I promise is Mike will be put to sleep and he will feel my power and I will go down as the man who put Tyson to sleep for the last time.”
Paul also said that he plans “knock this old man the f–k out.” Tyson responded by saying, “I’m going to f–k Jake up.”
The 58-year-old Mike Tyson will step in the ring against the 27-year-old Jake Paul on July 20 at the 80,000 capacity AT&T Stadium. The fight will have eight two-minute rounds and will be streamed live on Netflix across the globe.
